Back when there was relatively nothing that documented stencil art, there was one book that il never forget getting my mitts on. It was Soho Walls : Beyond Graffiti and after discovering it in 96 (thanks to a friend o mine) i found it very inspiring . It was actually published in 1990 and was quite ahead of its time i think. By todays standards it may not do much for some but it was about the only book i could find at the time that was mainly stencils on the streets of NYC. Hang on,,,its 20 years old!!!! I know that there were other publications floating around before Soho Walls that had stencil content but as far as i know this was the only one focusing mainly on stencils. People, (young and old) go out and find yaself a copy coz its a must have for any collection. Maybe in your search youll stumble pon his other stuff.
have a NYCE weekend.

http://megarampage.com/home.html
I hope we don’t all have to pay $99 to see this?? can someone let us know if that is the case?? I don’t really care for the offspring anymore…
UPDATE: the ‘megarampage’ event has been cancelled due to poor sale I think, but I have it on good word the the artist are still coming out and having there own event.
The event is not cancelled, just restructured.
