During my Europe travles last year I was filmed in London in collaboration with itdrewitself and Verynearlyalmost for a short doco. The discussion is about the process of how I find these ‘found objects’ that I re-invent into artworks. Check it out >

My 4th and final installation of my painting frenzy in Wynwood for Miami Art Basel 2012.Completed one week apart, Dal East and myself collaborated on this large wall at the Wynwood Cigar Factory located on NW24th st between North Miami ave and NW 2nd ave. It was very easy to decide what to do from Dal’s crashed car. Very different styles but it works! Time to enjoy Basel and get my drink on… maybe even go to the beach!
My Ride during Basel… I wish!

My 3rd installment of walls completed in Wynwood for Miami Art Basel 2012. A very hard location to paint…. not just the size either. Luckily the owners were nice enough to hire a mammoth boom 50 ft boom lift! One of my largest murals to date. This wall can be found on the corner of SE 26th st & NE 2nd ave. Enjoy…

Sorry for the lack of posting on my behalf….
Miami Basel and all the shenanigans that came with it got the best of me.
This is the second wall I completed during Basel in Wynwood. Located near the corner of NE 22nd st and North Miami ave. It was a challenging wall to paint with the amount of windows, doors and other characteristics on the 2 storey building. It was a challenge to say the least. Buildings like this are attractive for me to paint as it makes me think how I can use these wall characteristics to my advantage. Here is the result:

Miami 2012
Ok I am really sorry about the lack of posting on the blog whilst in Miami. I’ll try make it up with a ton of pics…
I don’t have pics of all the walls, but I hope Maka, Meggs & Reka will also be posting something shortly.
One of the first things we did was go to one of my favourite stores in the world, ‘Home Depot’ and stock up on supplies:

Reka had been in town for a few weeks already so he had a good head start on the rest of us:

Nice to see a few of my works from last year survived, just:

Its been a while since my last update of my travels throughout Europe. I am currently in a not so sunny Berlin. Its such a culturally rich and interesting city. I will be calling this home early next year. Anyway… here is one of the first walls I had completed last week in Friedrichstein, Berlin. Located at a street art hub called Urban Spree rich next to the remains of the Berlin wall. Stay tuned for more walls I have been doing this week. Enjoy!
