We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this unceded land on which we work, live and play: the Wurundjeri and neighbouring Boonwurrung people of the Kulin Nation.
We pay respects to their Elders; past, present and emerging.

RESIDENCY PROGRAM
Bringing Artists Together
Everfresh Studio has always been a home away from home for like-minded artists. We have a limited opportunity to offer our live-in studio space to travelling artists for a very small fee at a few weeks at a time. If you are interested, please get in touch. The one condition is we need someone to vouch for you, a studio member or someone who is a trusted friend of the studio.
Everfresh Studio is the birthplace of some of
Australia's best know street artists.
Now a multidiscipline creative hub of painters, screen printers, sign writers, designers, photographers, sculptors,
installation artists & makers.
OUR STORY
Art on the Street
Since the rise of street art in Melbourne, one prolific group of artists has continually turned Melbourne’s streets into their canvases. The group is known as Everfresh, and its work is a fusion of explosive colour, intricate line work, iconic characters and visual stories that can be appreciated (or condemned) not only in the streets and laneways of their native Melbourne, but in public spaces around the world.
Everfresh Studio was formed in 2004 in response to the closure of another inner-city set-up, Blender studios. Initially four artists, Rone, Reka, Sync and Wonderlust cleared out an unused storage shed and the first incarnation of Everfresh was created. The new suburban base allowed the artists to broaden the reaches of their work to include all of Collingwood and the neighbouring suburbs of Fitzroy and Brunswick, as well as the whole of the city’s centre. In time, these areas and the studio members and other artists operating within them would make Melbourne famous for the impressive extent and indisputable quality of the street art and graffiti adorning its walls, and in turn, making the city a kind of mecca for street and graffiti artists and enthusiasts alike.
Inside the studio, the place is a visual overload, where chaos and colour meet you at every turn. Wet paint stains your clothes and spilled glue sticks and stencil debris to your shoes. Bicycles hang from the ceiling in varying states of disrepair. Canvases—even precious ones—are wedged and stacked wherever there’s a nook, and once brilliant-red fire extinguishers slowly begin to fossilise next to a shelf of vintage spray cans.
